About iheart

What if every young person had a resilience instruction manual that could help them create a better, brighter future?

iheart is a non-profit organisation aiming to make a real impact in mental health. Its resilience programme is being taught  to young people across the world with truly extraordinary results.

It takes a radically different approach to how we tackle mental health issues.  It's not about fixing what is broken or seeing deficits.  iheart reveals our amazing innate capacity to be resilient, to feel good and to navigate life. It's about empowering young people with the knowledge and understanding they need to thrive.

"…iheart is a promising new intervention offering a step-by-step change in mental health education for improving resilience, mental wellbeing and the ability for children to navigate psychological challenges" Journal of Public Mental Health January 2021

When we focus on solving the right problem – educating our children about their innate resilience –the evidence speaks for itself:

  • 98% of children noticed a positive change in themselves at the end of the iheart programme.
  • 95% would recommend the programme to a friend.
  • 90% saw increased emotional resilience for dealing with adversity.
"In such trying times, by preventing young peoples’ wellbeing from negatively spiralling, and in some cases, returning mental health levels back to pre-pandemic levels … the iheart programme is a huge success given the challenges we are currently facing." National Lottery Funded Youthsight Research Report December 2020

As an iheart facilitator, I deliver the 10 session programme to 9-18 year olds both in educational settings and privately in small group or 1-2-1 tutoring sessions.  If you'd like to find out more or have any questions get in touch I'm more than happy to chat.

As part of a private tutoring package, parents also have access to the ‘Creating Resilient Families’ online course (usually £120 purchased via the charity). https://iheartprinciples.com/parents/
